God is dead What I think Nietzsche's is trying to say is that we did not kill him physically or anything like that but not everyone in the world follows under the "holy" guidelines that is written in the bible, or like how not everyone believes in god. Einstein believes that the Universe is God. Which i also believe that is true, because what do God and the universe have in common is that we both do not really know anything about either. For God we only know what we do know about him is a book written by man, and like the universe we only know as much as our technology lets us really know.

1. The illusory nature of Near Death Experiences correlates with how mind clones may trick us in the future about their own self-awareness because our own minds are already an easy target to trick. According to the short film “Near Death Experiences: Neural Projection and Staying Alive”, our minds project visions to us that will motivate us to stay alive. This is why people experience different things during a near death experience. Everyone is biologically motivated by something different. However, we are often tricked by our own minds because we often view this as a spiritual phenomenon rather than a survival tactic. When thinking about mind clones it is wrong for us to assume that the technology must replicate our own brain and all its functions to achieve self-awareness. The short film “Mind Clones and Artificial Intelligence: Edelman’s Error and Cyber Reflections” uses the analogy of a plane to discuss this further. A bird is far more complex than a plane; however, the plane is still able to fly for faster and for longer periods of time. We only want planes to provide a function of what a bird can do. Similarly, most of us only want a computer that provides us with an analog of one’s mind. The video states that there are many ways that a computer can form consciousness. Technology is already providing us with phones that contain software that allows us to ask our devices questions and receive human responses. It isn’t far off for mind clones to trick us in the future about their own self-awareness.
2. From my understanding, Nietzsche’s famous dictum “god is dead” explains how our society has come to a point where we no longer need the idea of god. We are able to function without him. However, the madman fears that without god our world would fall apart. We wouldn’t have a moral guideline to stand on. However, this shows how the Christian God is no longer a credible source of moral guidelines in our society. The problem faced now is to retain a set of values without the presence of a divine order.
