Week 4 Film Test Answers: Code 22-2 The theory of natural selection by evolution is so controversial because find it hard to believe that we came from monkeys, technically we didn’t - there’s an ancestral branch, we diverged. There’s also those who believe in divine creation, created by God, who don’t like to think that anyone other than their God created anything. I have grown up believing evolution even though I was brought up Catholic, so it doesn’t phase me. To me it is the only theory that makes sense, simply because I question the myth of God. Honestly, and maybe I’m not thinking critically, but I can think of nothing that can’t be explained by evolution that isn’t an emotion. If you memorize something for an exam you’ll know it. You won’t actually know it because you merely memorized a bunch of words in order. There was nothing that was stored for you to critically think about. Also the concept of daydreaming, in that world we can convince ourselves that anything is true. However with real world applications none if it might be true. sites.google.com/site/glennontakesphilosophy/movie-tests
