Film Test #5
Code: 55502
1. The Virtual Simulator is a fixed or manipulated way of thinking and viewing the world that we all have inside of our minds. We believe certain things, and act in certain ways because of the virtual simulator and the simulated world around us. In my simulated world everything is different. I try to think of situations in my life that I can change, even if they cannot be changed in reality. It is used as a way to escape the problems and tasks in real life. The virtual simulator opens up a whole new perspective to life, and makes the days go by easier and faster.
2. The M.E. theory makes me question my own belief system. I think that I have a lot of doubt, and that makes me feel like I am not a true “follower of God”. Sometimes I question if there even is a God that is watching over me, and other times I feel so sure that certain things in my life only happen because of God. It is a constant battle that I fight because I feel like I will never truly know. It is a question that I feel like will never be answered. I hope to find out, but I do not really know what to believe during this time in my life.
3. My purpose in my own life is to help others, especially individuals with mental or physical disabilities, and to bring happiness to everyone around me. But I feel like my purpose in life in this day and age should be to live the American Dream. I think that everyone around me expects me to get some fancy degree, get married right after, and have children and raise them. Sometimes I feel like my life will not be worth anything if I do not do those things in the future because of society. Do not get me wrong; having a career, your own house, and a beautiful family is amazing. But I feel like I have to be in a rush to achieve these certain things in order to prove myself to my family, society, and well basically everyone around me. In the end, I want to live my life to the fullest, and fulfill what I believe is my purpose. That will ultimately make me feel like my life is worth something. I believe that my purpose is to help people, and make the world (or at least the world around me) a better place.
