1. To think that our world can be a part of an infinite universe is fascinating. That makes possibilities themselves infinite. Things we may not think exist, just might. I find it very refreshing. I can only imagine what and who is out there. If there’s things we’re confused about now, just imagine how we would feel about things we would discover outside of our world. When it comes to my feelings towards being made up of atoms and material stuff, it doesn’t affect me. It isn’t going to decrease my self worth in any way. Whether it was to bother me or not, it’s still a scientific fact.
2. For most of my life, I’ve lived with the idea that things just tend to happen. Other than those who believe they can see the future, there isn’t a way we can predict anything in life. Which is why I agree with chance. I don’t think we have any control over any situation, whether good or bad. The only thing we have control over is the way we choose to react to it.
3. Science is golden. The way scientists use different approaches to figure out solutions to complex problems and come up with explanations for how the world works is beautiful. Something as simple as a flower proves that science is immeasurable. Science gives everything in life meaning. One thing I’d definitely say science broadened my appreciation of is the human body. The human body boggles my mind. It’s intense, fragile, complicated, and most of all, elegant. I commend my body for everything it does for me. Besides the body, I find bees to be very intriguing. I used to loathe bees. But once I learned what they did for us, I learned to see the beauty in them.
